this is the first time i've ordered a textbook on the marketplace of amazon.com. if anyone had experience with this before can you tell me how they fit the textbook in your mailbox? or do they need a signature for delivery? and what is media mail? please help

Hmm i ordered textbooks from amazon but I can't remember whether they were put in the mailbox.. I'm pretty sure they weren't. They don't need a signature.

the textbook is probably to big to fit in your mailbox. im sure they will just drop it off at your door

I've ordered tons of textbooks from Amazon (actually I get just about all of them off Amazon) and they are always nicely shipped. Most of them fit in the mailbox and come in packages that look like this:
<a href="http://www.pakoutlet.com/media/images/category/bubble%20mailer.jpg%5B/url%5D">http://www.pakoutlet.com/media/images/category/bubble%20mailer.jpg</a></p>

Or they come in boxes at your door. I've never had to sign.

usually its at ur door.
they knock and they leave

When ever I order from amazon, which is quite a lot they leave it at my door.

I order all of my books from them, but I have them delivered to my mom's office so that receptionist takes them for me.

I've ordered alot from Amazon and its marketplace; the mailman just leaves it at the door and knocks to let you know it's there.

A textbook might be a little big for a mailbox :D .

yea, they just leave it at the door. :) I don't remember signing...

I think it probably will go in the door. it only took a couple days for me.

I order from Amazon a lot (my last order arrived yesterday:)), but I'm not sure how they get delivered. They usually arrive via DHL for me, but since couriers are too dangerous they have to leave my item with security, who bring it to me. I highly doubt they require a signature.

Amazon is really helpful, so don't worry. You'll get your books :D

I used order most of my books and textbooks on amazon. Amazon is reliable and friendly but for the future, I highly dont recommend getting a 'used' book. Their sellers and NOT reliable and friendly. (My order came in 1.5 months after I placed my order - And throughout the 1.5 months, I continuously battled with them online).

Anyway, they usually come to your door, and ring your doorbell and when you answer the door, they give the box to you. If you dont answer the door, they jsut leave it in front of the door.
