I’m having trouble finding AU’s application status check online. Can someone please give me the link?

Thank you.

On the schools main website go to Prospective Students.
Then in the yellow box in the center of your screen toward the top click on Undergrad.
This will bring you to the sign in page, sign in.
Then go to the center right side of the page, there are three choices, pick application status.
Good Luck

Thank you!

Does American tell us online if we were accepted; if so when?

when will they send me my pass?

i got accepted ED there and they called me and emailed me.

when do you guys find out?

I think it's the end of march we find out. That's so far away.

<<this will="" bring="" you="" to="" the="" sign="" in="" page,="" in.="">></this>

How to?
Do I have to create new account?

yep sign up and create an account.

I just created an account, but I do not have the option of checking my status. Also, the only possible "starting term" options were Fall 2010, Spring 2010, and Summer 2010. I chose the fall of 2010 as 2009 was not available, but I now realize that it's only because they've closed the 2009 admissions.

This will not affect my real application, right?

Collegehellp, so can you check your application status??
I have the same problem.
So I didn't create it...
I thought it might affect my real application.

i signed up and it took a week for the option to check your status to appear. :)

My daughter is an AU sophomore and, if I recall, she received her acceptance around the middle of March. She initially found out from an email from AU, which was followed up by a snail mail acceptance package.

Here's a thread from 2007 which showed RD acceptances: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/american-university/306467-email-notification.html?highlight=decisions
