Online Teacher Recs with Alternate Version

<p>Hello all,
after creating an alternate version of my Common App, I have no colleges in the new version's "My College" list. If I try to add a college that is on the old version's list, it won't let me, so I have to get rid of the college from the old version first. My school forms and teacher recs have been submitted online already to all colleges. If I remove a college from "my colleges" in the old version and add it in the new version, what will happen to the recommendations and school forms?</p>

<p>Hey, I figured out how to do it…
On the old version, go to “my colleges” and click on a college. Next to the button “remove this college” there is a button “move this college,” and if you press this, you can move it to the other version of your application.</p>

<p>Are you sure then frizz11 that if you move a college to an alternate version of the Common App the recommendations and school forms already submitted won’t be lost?</p>

<p>Also, when you do an alternate version, do you have to start from scratch or can you just change one thing (e.g., add latest SAT scores for a school that doesn’t accept score choice and wants you to self-report all your scores)?</p>

<p>^You can change whatever you want to. After you create a new version, all the data (i.e. SAT scores, address, etc) will be preserved. The only part that will be removed are the written documents (“Writing” - Common App. Essay, Short Answer)</p>
