Online University Transfer To Campus University

Would they look at it and second think into accepting me ? I'm going to take a couple online courses during the summer and go to a campus university in the fall for only the first semester. I'm going to try to transfer to a different university for the second semester.

The college I want to transfer to needs at least 23 credits for me to be considered a transfer student. After the summer online classes and first semester on an campus university I will have 26 credits.

Will they accept the online course credits I will complete...or will only a certain amount of them be accepted. If they do get accepted, will my chances of getting into this university be lowered due to the fact that I went to an online university ?

If you have a particular school in mind, call their admissions office. Keep in mind that some schools won’t take online credits for transfer credits.

Really depends on what school you are applying to.

It depends on both where you’re applying and where the online units are from. If they’re from University of Phoenix, you may have a hard time getting them recognized. If it wasn’t a totally online university, but one that offers courses online (IE: many community colleges offer distance ed), you’ll probably have more luck.
