<p>Funny especially now that Dartmouth only uses the common app. Schools that take the common have statede that they do not to discriminate against it. D used common app for all her schools it was quick she was able to keep all to print out a hard copy for her records in addition to keeping a pdf copy on her computer. </p>
<p>My personal take is this - It is very irritating to try to deciher someone's penmanship . Since so little time is given to the acutal reading of your application if some one has to figure out what you wrote (as even "good penmanship" is a relative thing). Think of it as a lesson when you apply for a job, keep your type simple avoid, cutesy fonts, embellished stationery etc.</p>
