Online vs. Paper: Does it matter?

I have heard that Brown prefers paper applications- so does it lower your chances in the slightest if you use the online application? A lot of my friends are wondering about this two, and I am fairly concerned- if you have any idea, please let me know! Thanks!

My son successfully used the Brown online application last year. The process of filing online was smooth and looked pretty good. He was even able to up-load his resume in exactly the format he had chosen. Since Brown does NOT accept the Common App, I cannot imagine them looking unfavorably at their own application, in whichever form.

That's funny, I've heard that most schools prefer that you apply online. Either way, it shouldn't influence your chances.

Unless your paper app has ketchup stains on it.

Apply online! I did paper app, and it took like a month for me to get my ID and password. Gosh!

yeah....I did paper app too...haven't receinved my ID and password yet :(

thanks guys...I was not looking forward to the paper, so i think I'll go with online. Good luck to all of you applying!
