only 1 school???

Well mAy 1st is almost here so it's time to pick which college's invitation you will accept. After narrowing down between 3 schools, I committed to Baruch college.. Now I can't help but wonder, is that it? I mean what if I unexpectadely get rescinded or they decide to reject me in the summer, what happens then? Are you soppised to commit to 2 schools? I'm lost

I doubt you’ll be rejected, unless you do something absolutely TERRBILE.

I have a question for you though, I’m looking at Baruch and Hunter and I’m just wondering where you’re going to be living your four years of college? It kind of worries me about the student and housing life if there really are NO dorms. Also, should I even consider Baruch if I want to go for Communications?

You are NOT to commit to two schools. Step back and think about this: should your fiance have a back up before your wedding date just in case you turn him/her down. “Geez, honey. I feel bad that you want to call off the wedding. But all’s not lost because my honey over here will take your place. She fits your wedding dress nicely too! Since you won’t need it, I’ll give you a good price for it”

Ridiculous right? You’d be doing grave harm to your 2nd school because of your nerves here. And if you did something from now to September that would get you rescinded at Baruch – you’d be rescinded everywhere so the outcome would be the same. Are you planning on something terrible??? Do you think colleges are lying in wait to find reasons to rescind acceptees??

Think about this. Go and relax (and send in your accept to Baruch and not the 2nd college).

Are you expecting to do something that will cause them to rescind you? Wouldn’t that cause you to be rescinded at any other school as well? Stick with the school you selected.
