..until Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1!!!

Who else is going to see the midnight premiere, possibly screwing themselves over for the 8 AM class they have on Friday that's required for their major and is only offered once a year and only at 8 AM? I know I am!

[Team Hermione]

I have fridays off. If I can manage a ride to the theater I will definitely be there, I haven’t missed a midnight premiere yet.

For the record, I knew exactly what this thread was about before I even opened it. :)

I’m really not into it, but I can’t help but ask… part one? You mean the last, well, episode, will be released separately in two parts?

^yeah, the first part’s coming out in November, and the second part is coming out next summer.

I was thinking of taking a (long) nap Thursday afternoon and then just staying up for Friday. I’ll see depending on what we’re doing in class.
I have a group of friends going to school in the same state that wants to meet up to watch it at midnight, but if I REALLY can’t make it, I can handle waiting until Friday night as long as I can go to THE last movie at midnight.

I absolutely am joining the party. I have an 8:40 Friday class, but whatever…I will be going on Thursday night, as I have for all of the other movie premieres. :)

Edit: Oh and Kvasek - yes, the 7th book is being made into 2 movies, presumably so that they can include as much detail as possible. And draw it out, which I don’t really have a problem with because I don’t want the series to finally end.

I can’t wait! Even though I tend to hate the movies…I’m still curious. Might have to wait until I’m home for this one though. From what I hear my college town only has one theatre and it’s not that great…who knows if they’ll even show it, lol. I mean, surely they will! But it’s really small…will probably sell out instantly.

I am usually the person who triumphs GO TO CLASS, but c’mon. This is one of the BIGGEST EVENTS OF OUR GENERATION (okay, that’s actually more true of part two). I think that trumps Chem 101.

^ lol, actually the seventh book coming out could possibly be considered one of the biggest. As far as media is concerned. But the movies? Nah. They’re kind of hit and miss, and if they screw up this one then there’s just no forgiving them!

The movies have one thing the books do not, however, that being Emma Watson!

trumpetcolor- I’m actually planning on doing the same with some friends who are going to school about five hours away from me! Hopefully it works out, fingers crossed for the both of us!

reesez - I can’t wait for 90 minutes of Ron, Harry, and Hermione camping and arguing in the woods!

October47 - I hear you on the hit-or-miss… a couple of the movies were downright atrocious. I just evaluate them separately from the books, insulate myself from the shock a bit, so to speak.
