<p>I’ve only taken 2 years of a foreign language in high school. I opted to take AP Physics over French III. Can I still apply to Brown?</p>
<p>Brown says they require 3 years foreign lang and recommend 4. I'm guessing that Brown does not value AP Physics over French III, or really, French 4. Really what is the point in asking after the fact? How about choosing another school?</p>
<p>You had better call the admissions office to see if they ever waive this. I would guess that they do for students who are outstanding in every way and also in a particular field.</p>
<p>I think if you are targeting highly selective schools, the 2 years is going to hurt you across the board. Is there a chance to enroll as a Senior? I am also assuming that you had at least one Physics course in HS, just not AP.</p>
