only 4 UC approved classes senior year-will this hurt?

I only have four UC approved courses for my senior year courseload:

English 4AP Lit
Physics C AP
Calculus BC/AP
Government AP

Although I'm taking six classes overall, the other two are not UC approved. Will this count against me in any way for UCB, UCLA, or UCSD? My UC weighted GPA is 4.23 and I have good SATs (2340 SATI, 780 760 SAT IIs)

i hope not, cause im only taking 2 AP classes my senior year, since I've completed all the AP classes possible at my school besides English AP. T.T

but i dont think it matters, all they want to see you do is not slack off. if they see you're taking 6 classes, thats fine.

No, it won't. They calculate your GPA with only four, but they really like seeing that you have quite a few other advanced classes.

With those little stats... it looks like you'll get accepted anyway. :P

i'm taking the exact same courseload except that i'm taking calculus I at cal state fullerton and i'm in regular physics (didn't have time for the after school labs because of student government, sports, and work).

if you are applying for ucs, it doesn;t matter...ucs just look at grades...they basically don;t care about course rigor

^^ not true.

If you're in all regular/remedial classes and get a 4.0, you aren't getting into Berkeley or LA.
