Now i've searched all over these forums and have gained a general idea of SAT prep books that are somewhat decent. But, will only $75 available to go towards test prep, what books would you guys recommend. If it means anything, my verbal score is 620 and my math is 600......i need alot of help!!!

thank you all

why not subscribe to the SAT online course ($60) and there a 10 dollar discount if you own the blue book.

Buy Barrons (30USD) and Grubers (20USD) and Kaplans 12 Practice SAT's.

That should help you a lot.

the Kaplan 12 Practice tests is way too easy

Stuck on 1700: not sure about that, they seem to be same difficulty as college board blue book tests. I've compared myself and score about the same on both

I always score higher with Kaplan than any other book. especially on CR (which i suck at) so I think it is a bit easier

Meh, whatever. I think as long as you take practice tests, you'll be fine, even if they are slightly easier.

I think if you don't own the Official book, you should definitely get it. It'll be the most accurate types of questions since well.. it comes from the source.
