Only applicant?

I don't know if this is because I've never taken Geography or History but does Burma have something to do with the Burmuda triangle?
And Timbaktu is a real country??

And if it has something to do with the whole triangle thing, have u seen the whole dissapearing thing? Like, if I go through the whole sailing thing thru the triangle area, will I dissappear?

omg

NO Burma has nothing to do with the Brumuda triangle. And Timuktoo is a city not a country !!!

the Burmuda triangle is near the island of Bermuda by the way !

haha NoFX

Burma is in southeast asia, now known as Myanmar. Bermuda triangle is somewhere in between 80-90 degrees west and 30-20 degrees north, around the east coast of Florida and Peurto Rico and also a little part of it is next to South Carolina.

hey, we have lots of southeast asian kids here. Nice.
Anyway, PierreMarie, in Vietnam, we students stay together for a straight 4 or 3 years. It's sometimes really boring, though we have a chance to get close. The curriculum is the same throughout the country. But well, teachers can teach whatever they want. For example, we still follow the curriculum, even the (national) syllabus, but my teachers give a lot of extra assignments and the tests, wow, they are like something high in the sky.

I guess there goes my hook theory.

omg NoFX, you're joking right?

or maybe I'm right about the whole "far off and exotic" thing.

yeah, i meet people sometimes who ask me when I say "I'm from Burma", "Dude is it an island?"

well, maybe you can check out wwwdotmyanmarsdotnet or wwwdotburmaprojectdotorg for a brief intro to my country, interesting place really.

ohhhh sorry guys. I had no idea..
I only took social studies in year 9 and 10 (core class) and I never really paid much attention to it. lol I found out this year that Egypt was in Africa not Asia. Or is it the other way around?

All I remember from my 2 years is that Hitler has one testical. Umm I learnt that china is twice the size of america lol.

Yes I dropped social studies and will never ever take History and Geography. I CANT MEMORISE.

omg alyssa,
you sound so smart with the whole angles thing going on! You must have like a computerised world map in your head or something. Euhh I dont even know what South east Asia is.

hahaha, NoFX, you are really funny mate. How can you be like know nothing about Asia.... remember it's the biggest continent in Earth then :D :D. Hope it's not new to you.
Btw, I'm another VNese applicant. HI!! all you guys here, especially ngohuongly88, hi mate :D :D

on the other hand you do know Hitler had one testicle!! I didnt know that - Even if i recently read his biography for a class!!

now thats an odd remark!!!???!!

paradox, yeah I thought coming from NewZealand was a hook too.. Until this thread came.. Dude people are from Burma to Myanmar to.. some other exotic country!

Duncanctc, lol yeah I know asia, I was born in Korea and lived there for couple of years. I just dont know about the whole east west south northwest and southblahblahblah.. I can't tell the difference between east and west. Someone told me to say - Never Eat Soggy Weetbix - but I dont know you label it clockwise or anticlockwise (?) Yeahhhh I dont think I make sense ay. BUT i do know that South is down and North is Up. Also, I did not know that Asia was the biggest continent!? I swear it's Africa!

NoFX.

ROTFL... the two are the same country man! :p sorry but i found it hilarious...:D

Oh, NoFX, you sound funny. And for your sake, guy, Never Eat Soggy Weetbix is labeled clockwise. (btw, I like that) and Asia is sure the biggest. I bet you are a science kid, quite different from me. Well, it's not that I don't like science, but I think I don't have the necessary 'stuff'
Duncanctc, hi there! You're the 2nd Vietnamese I know here! If you want, you can send me mess here.

wow, I just realized what a great team we've got here.
And this is my 91 posts. 9 to go!!!

Geography stuff is science somehow. However it's not amazing to me when someone asks where the hell is china? or is this in Africa??? er... so if someone asks where is Vn or Burma? :)) it's normal neway :D.
But NoFx, plz go to a book store nearest to your house and buy an atlas. It will be much better if you know abit about other countries. Then, hope one day, you wont talk to urself..."here is my home country":D. Btw, where are you from then?

NoFX is from NZ. you still want my atlas, mate?

or hahahaha.... Ok
