I received an invitation to GAAP, which congratulated me on admission to Georgetown. However, I didn't get a letter from the actual admissions office. The GAAP letter was signed by students.
It appears that I'm in, but what's the deal here? Is there a separate letter that I will get from admissions?

I would call the admissions office just to clarify.

Just curious, did anyone get the GAAP information today? If so, was this in a separate envelope from your acceptance letter?
Looking now, the GAAP thing is in fact addressed from Admissions. Maybe it just got here earlier than a separate envelope with information regarding acceptance and enrolling.

yea i got the acceptance letter and enrollement info in a small envelope on saturday and the GAAP thing came in a big envelope today

Thanks for letting me know. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I'll give them a call.

i kind of had the same problem...i got a call from a student congratulating me on my acceptance (ea) before i actually got my acceptance letter...i guess these letters have a habit of getting to people later then they should...anyways, congrats on your acceptance!

you should get 2 things...one for GAAP and one formal letter.

I got my GAAP today..got acceptance on saturday

received both today.
