Only one AP class taken!

<p>I have a 4.2 UC GPA, 31 ACT, 750 Math II, 640 US, but I'm afraid of my lack of AP classes will affect my chances! </p>

<p>I have only taken one AP class throughout freshmen to junior year, but I am currently taking 3 more as a senior. I have taken a ****load of honors classes but will the fact that I have only taken one AP class hurt my chances at UCs? </p>

<p>well AP looks better than Honors :(. I’m applying to all the UCs also >.<. How’s ur EC? btw chance back plz :). Think my thread is 1 higher than urs >.<.</p>

<p>that depends how many AP classes your school offers. If there are a lot more you could have taken, it might hurt you. However, if your school only offered a few to begin with, the the college would understand. That combined with a high GPA, good recs, extracurriculars, volunteering, good essays, high SAT and Sat 2’s will help your chances. Good Luck!</p>

<p>it will not hurt your admissions. seeing that you have a 4.2 uc gpa that means a lot of those honors classes are uc approved honors courses which are as good as ap classes. there would be a problem if you had taken a lot of honors courses that didn’t factor in to your uc gpa</p>
