<p>Applying to UVA - SEAS (engineering) for sophmore year</p>

<p>Freshman at Virginia Tech

3.1 GPA (14 credit hours, but ALL math/science because i tested out of the 3-credit freshman english...lowest grade was B- in a geology class, but had B in chem/calc II/vector calculus, and A- in engineering class/chem lab)
next semester: 17 credit hours (mulitvariable, eng class, C++ class, Java class, linear algebra, physics/lab)
will have completed all requirements for transfer to e-school</p>

<p>3.6 HS GPA (4.2 senior year...had a rough junior year, talked about it in essays)
1380 SAT
8 APs (world history, US history, eng language, physics, calcAB, us gov't, comp. gov't, eng lit)</p>

<p>good ECs (girl scouts, key club historian senior year, NHS, lots of community service, tutored at local elem. school every saturday for all four years of high school during school year, SGA senator at VT, had job all four years of HS, tutoring at mathlab next semester, member of society of women engineers)

<p>ok, im not sure, but isnt this like the 2nd or 3rd chance thread for UVA you have made? I think you need more units...</p>

<p>its the first post-fall semester...and i had 14 units soley because i was put by accident in freshman english, but i had already tested out of it, and i couldnt register for additional classes...which is also why im taking 17 next semester, but i have so many APs that i have a total of 35 credits so far. Also, by the end of next semester, ill have already completed all needed prerequisites for the e-school, which is mainly what they look for</p>
