So I looked through the undergraduate course catalog and it said that only three courses were offered towards the International Business concentration, all involving International Economics (two were classes, one was a seminar). Are those really all you need? I clicked on marketing and a much longer list appeared. Also, are all these classes taken at SFS?

Yea, that course catalog system is a bit goofy. All MSB majors are 5 classes. You can find the specifics here: [The Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business](http://www12.georgetown.edu/undergrad/bulletin/msb.html#majors)

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
(15 CREDIT HOURS)
Required Courses:

Three electives, which could include:

* Derivatives and Financial Markets
- Global Financial Markets and Institutions
- Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Intercultural Communication
- International Finance
- International Marketing

(One of the elective requirements may be met with an appropriate course from the Economics, History, or Government Departments or an elective course in the School of Foreign Service. These courses must be approved by the Undergraduate Program Office.)

One Area Course
(The course should be a history, government, economics or upper level language course. The course must be approved by the Undergraduate Program Office.)

Students must also fulfill the International Qualification which can be met in one of three ways:

by certification of foreign language proficiency at the business level, determined by oral examination;

by completing an approved study abroad program for an academic year, semester, or summer; or

by demonstrating significant foreign living or working experience.

Students planning to fulfill the international qualification of the major by language proficiency should take the examination as soon as they have reached adequate proficiency.

Can I finish the study abroad portion by going to LSE? I still plan to learn a foreign language (Mandarin), but I really want to go to the London School of Economics for a semester.

Oh and very very informative, thank you!

Just FYI you can’t go to LSE for only a semester, it is only a full year program (or summer but that is not exactly the same experience)
