Only wharton ppl...sry everybody else

this questions kina weird…for ur recommendations for wharton…did your teachers stress your business qualities or at least mention that aspect since your applying to wharton…because im thinking that, if i apply to other schools, and use those same recs (cuz my teachers arent writing new ones…) and the teachers stressed business…that might not look good

wow…really weird post…

Well aren't you applying to other business schools? Why would you apply to wharton, business as your first choice, and not apply to other business schools if you don't get in?

well i can tell you that i am applying to wharton as a first or second choice, but its the only business school im applying to. Because most other schools do not have direct programs, you have to apply after a year or two in college. Wharton business is also somewhat more flexible than other b-schools so if you are not completely sure its a good option.

To answer Bigjakes question, I am sending two recs from math and science, who are going to stress academics. I am also sending a supplemental letter from my economics teacher for the business side.

Oh no, he excluded me from a thread because I applied to the college. OH NO =[[[[[[[[[[[[[[

keke! =p

lol "only wharton ppl"

pshh that's like nearly everyone

and man my freaking guidance counselor won't let me read any of the recs.. ANY.. hm maybe i ... i'd feel rude asking the teacher for them though.. is that common practice?

...you're not supposed to be allowed to read the rec's. If it was common practice, it would probably end up with so much complaining with parents flipping out if the teacher was being brutally honest about someone. Thus, all teachers would be forced to lie and say, "so and so is soooooooo smart oh my gosh".

i kno... but so many people know what their teachers wrote

no way would any of them ever let me see my rec, unless maybe i tore open the sealed envelope that they give back to me
