Only your two highest Subject Tests are looked at?

So if I had:

Math II 800
Physics 800
Chemistry 780
US History 780

they would only look at Math II and Physics?

If you sent all 4, they’ll look at all four. And why are you worried? 780 is still pretty strong. Remember that SAT 2 are optional either way.

Oh? I had read somewhere on CC that the UC’s require 2 subject tests. And that they only look at the highest two subject test scores.

The 2012 Admission does not require SAT 2. They are optional and only ‘recommended’ if you’re applying to certain majors.

@explodingtoenail, starting with the Fall 2012 admission cycle, SAT Subject Tests are no longer required. For engineering majors, Math Level 2 and a science are still strongly recommended. Other majors may also recommend SAT Subject Tests; for more information, see [University of California - SAT Subject Tests](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/requirements/examination-requirement/SAT-subject-tests/index.html).
