<p>One of the backup sites for hotel rooms is Waynesboro, which is a quick drive on I-64. It may actually be faster to come into town on I-64 from Waynesboro than to drive on Rt. 29 north from a hotel that is closer.</p>
<p>The Omni is on the Downtown Mall. No driving needed…but the rooms are just over $400 per night. </p>
<p>It’s probably a better deal to rent a cottage or house. That’s pretty popular around here.</p>
<p>Its not a close walk either from the Omni up main street to the lawn. Not suitable for grandma unless she is very spry.</p>
