In general, how are the schools? Specifically, I'm looking for info about Carleton, McmAster, Ottawa, Queens, Toronto, and Western.

The universities in Ontario are all very good. Queens and Toronto are generally more known internationally, however it depends on what programs you are looking at.

Ontario schools are very well-rounded. Toronto can't be beat for pre-med.

U of T is fantastic, and Toronto is a great city. I'd recommend it.

U of T would be my first choice too. It's very pretty and it doesn't feel too big at all. Toronto is great. Kingston on the other hand, is not.

Wow. What's wrong with Kingston?

It seems similar to "college towns" that we in the states rave about, like Ithaca, NY, Saratoga Springs, or Burlington, VT. If anything, it is larger, nicer, and Queen's is better integrated into the main town area (walking distance). What's wrong there?
