Ontario - What class did you take in high school?

Hello everyone. This question is for anyone who went to high school in Ontario.

Out of curiosity, what courses did you take during your four years of high school?

Please list the courses you've taken from grades 9 to 12, if possible.

Also, if you did IB in Ontario, please describe the experience.

Grade 9:
Intro to business
English Gr. 9
Math Gr. 9
Drama
Tech
Science Gr. 9
French Gr. 9
Geography

Grade 10:

Grade 12:

Advanced Functions
English Gr. 12
Two Spares

Didnt do any AP or IB…

Why do you want to know?

I am contemplating taking a U history course, but I don’t know if I should/if it would look better than having a M Business leadership course. What do you suggest? (bus. leadership is a super easy course…98+…and history has an easy teacher…but i dont think i would get higher than bus. leadership).

Also, I have 3 math and 3 sci, 2 eng. and 1 bus. as of now (business leadership). Do you think dropping data management (math) for history would be better and make me look weel rounded for lib. art education? or is it fine? i’m a little confused.

well considering I took both World History (A U History) and Business Leadership, I would say that you dont need to drop one for the other…

Basically, stop trying to do a course load cause it looks good, and do a course load that is challenging and something you enjoy. I took numerous business courses (3 in both grade 11 and grade 12), and it worked for me because my passion is business.

^the thing is I like both, so I wouldn’t mind dropping one for another. History really interests me, while a Business Leadership course may be unique.

I don’t know, both seem interesting and it’s tough to choose.

Well. Since I’m procrastinating from studying for IB exams (wrote 3 today!), I might as well do this…
