<p>Right??? Me too. It just makes me want to go back to the days of letters. If it doesn’t come when the mailman does, then it’s not going to come that day. No wondering. No checking my blackberry while I’m at disneyland… I think I’ll leave my phone at home tomorrow…</p>
<p>I just saw my acceptance to Santa Barbara haha, I’m not sure when it popped up though. I was waiting for an email from them, but noooo, nothing. A friend of mine told me two days ago that she had been accepted, but that to find out, she had to just look at her status page, no email. I was like ***!, went home, checked it, and what do you know, I’m accepted! Probably not going there though, as Berkeley is #1 choice, and I’m already in @ Irvine, and Irvine > SB (if only to avoid all the excessive partying). </p>

<p>I too saw the message that the site would be down for a few hours, and as soon as I woke up today I checked but of course my decision is still pending. The wait has been driving me nuts for the past couple of days, but I received some peace today in an unlikely form. I had Chinese for lunch and the fortune that I got from a fortune cookie read, “All your hard work will soon pay off.” I know it may sound silly but this fortune actually gave me peace of mind, and I hope it helps others as well. Hopefully all of us whose decisions are still pending can remember what got us this far and continue to work hard to accomplish our aspirations.</p>
