CHANCE ME CHANCE ME CHANCE ME

JellyB, from your lengthy post, I think you live in TX. If you are in VA, that makes a significant difference. If you are a guy, that will give you a little edge, and being Hispanic won't hurt a bit. Your EC's are outstanding. You should be commended for all you are able to do. However, your SAT puts you in a hole, especially for OOS. I think you should consider W&M a reach school, maybe even high reach. You may get in, but I think you need to concentrate on finding some match schools, and a couple of safeties. Of course there are a lot of good choices among VA and TX public universities.

Do you have any suggestions of colleges or universities that might "fit" me well?
I already have automatic acceptance at UT for being in the top 10% percentile.

Check out Elon, College of Charleston, Davidson, JMU

It's good you have UT in your back pocket, so, hopefully, you can have a bit of fun with your other apps. Rocketplayer gave a nice list to consider. I agree that JMU would seem to be a match for you. Looking at other VA public universities, how about VA Tech? If you want an urban experience, there's always VCU. These schools, however, are much larger than W&M, and you might want to consider some of the many private colleges/universities in VA. In the meantime, work on your W&M app. I thought it would be a reach for you, but it's not 'out of reach.' Good luck.
