Female, Asian
Top public school in state
GPA 3.9 UW/4.8 W
ACT "superscore" would be 35, but submitting a 33 and a 32 (because perfect writing score on the 32): 32 (35 E 28 M 33 R 32 S 12 W) & 33 (29 E 33 M 34 R 35 S 11 W).
no SAT, have a 750 on USH and 720 on Bio that I won't be submitting (took sophomore year, idk they were useless)

decent awards
good ec's (member of a few things, and had some unique learning experiences that are kind of ec, raised $19k for children's brain cancer research with vball program) and leadership (co-prez pep club, prez model un, varsity vb captain 2 yrs, jv soccer captain, work experience, etc.)

rec should be good, I like my essays (although one is 24% too short and another 60% too long)

schedule -> all honors or ap (except for PE), 12 aps upon graduation
6 units math (4 honors & 2 ap)
6 units science (3 honors & 3 ap)
5 units english (4 honors & 2 ap)
4 unties foreign language (3 honors & 1 ap)

6 aps & PE this year

sem 1 senior year GPA 5.6 W/3.85 UW

idk what else to put, I'm just worried mainly about the essays (length). Sorry it's sloppy

I don’t think they superscore ACT.

They don’t superscore ACT.

oh, yes, i know. hence would. they will get the 32 & 33

It’s very competitive to get in out of state, but I think you have a very good chance. UNC really considers strength of schedule, so you high number of AP courses will help. I recommend sending your SAT II scores if it’s not too late. Good luck.

My opinion – definite in . . . good luck . . .

You have a pretty good chance. You have a solid GPA, ACT score, and EC’s.

I would say high match.
