<p>what i am going to ask is if there is another semester i can start my studies and when is the deadline for admission for that semester? if not... will my chances me different if i were to apply to cornell ED after one year of break after high school?</p>

<p>You can't apply for the spring semester. Your chances after a one year break? Perfectly normal as long as you do something productive and geared toward your passion(s) with that time.</p>
<p>also, how does chances for transfer differ from chances of undergrad admission?? ie. is transferring harder or easier than applying freshman...?</p>
<p>It's easier if you get excellent grades for a year at another college, it's harder if you don't. I'm not sure how a year off looks - likely, it would depend largely on how you spend it.</p>
