OOS Accepted Students from Previous Years: Post Your Stats!

Yep! I know Drake. He was NHS president last year, and I worked on the junior board with him. I'm the president this year so I'm following in his footsteps haha. I'd love to go there, and want to visit soon, once I find out. I just don't know how realistic it is with the cost!

oh wow that's awesome. what major did you apply for? and if you ever visit, send me a message, i'd be glad to show you around or answer any questions you may have.

fwiw:

Unless you have lostsa money to burn, the UCs just aren't worth the OOS prices.

my family doesn't necessarily have "lotsa money to burn" but UCLA has definitely been worth the money for a lot of reasons

I've been looking lots of places for scholarships but can only find need based ones. Yet I'm going to be paying myself... so I can't really bring myself to pay full tuition. I haven't found a single scholarship for merit open to non California residents. I actually applied for the alumni association one before reading carefully that by California applicants, it meant California RESIDENT applicants. Not UC applicants. I felt like a moron after writing three 500 word essays on rather abstract subjects...

And yet I still can't find a scholarship opportunity. Heck, right now, USC would be cheaper than UCLA for me!
