OOS Admission Stats?

<p>Anyone know the average stats for those admitted from OOS to UW? The average stats for the overall student body is easy to find, but I'm looking for the standards for OOS students which I heard could be drastically different. I also heard the admission rate for OOS students is also less-- about 50% last year? Kind of sucks that admissions work this way, especially for those in states without that many great colleges (Oregon =/). </p>

<p>My stats are slightly above average for the overall student body.</p>

<p>GPA UW: 3.72 (4.0 this year but they're not going to see that)
SAT 1- MATH: 720 Reading: 610 Writing: 510 1840 Total
EC's: A few good ones that were somewhat long-term. Only had to list up to a max of 5 on the application.
Essay: Good, probably not outstanding
AP/College/Honors: 3 AP, 3 College level courses, 8 Honors; 4 College level/AP courses this year
1st generation college student
Korean ethnicity</p>

<p>Just worried because my stats aren't much greater than the average which is most likely a lot higher for OOS students =/.</p>

<p>all I can say is: Best of luck, you resemble many instate students that may or may not get in. My stats are very similar to yours and I'm instate and super nervous. With UW's budget cuts and many other kids not able to afford OOS schools/OOS admissions cuts in all schools more kids from washington are looking to attend UW next year.</p>
