I saw that last year many OOS acceptance letters went out Dec. 14th. Should we expect the same this year?
Top stat applicants in-state and OOS can get their admission decision in December. Usually these applicants are invited to apply to the Weber’s Honors college. If you do not get your decision in December, then expect it in February/March.
Thank you @Gumbymom would an EI of 4430 be considered “top stat” ?
These are the average stats for Weber’s Honor college students:
Typically, the average SAT (math + verbal) is approximately 1345, the average ACT is approximately 30, and the average high school weighted GPA is approximately 4.14.
So based on this information top student would have an average EI of 4657.
If your stats are near the averages, then you would be considered a top applicant.
I just wanted to add that at least one major (Nursing) in the past hasn’t received early acceptance notifications. So if you’re a high stats Nursing applicant don’t despair if you don’t receive an early acceptance. I don’t know if any other majors are excluded.
True^^^ Nursing applicants usually have to wait till February/March for their admission decisions.
