Just wanted to add my AP scores: Calc AB(5) Calc BC (5) Bio (5) Chem (4) USH (5) WH (5) Lang (5) Stat (5) European History (4) Physics 1 (3, horrible teacher, had to learn majority of material on my own)
Also my senior course load: AP lit, AP physics 2, AP comp sci, Multivariable Calculus, AP gov/ econ, and an independent study program offered at my school.
Hoping to get into Pre-Medicine
I’m an OOS student at Carolina, and I think your academics all look good, but I think UNC places a lot of emphasis on community involvement, so I would recommend getting some service hours your senior year. Also, with regard to your ECs, all those clubs and officer positions are great, but you don’t need to spread yourself too thin. I think it would be a wise choice to devote some time to a 100 hour service project your senior year. Officer positions are good, but clubs don’t really allow for much individual success. You would stand out more if you worked independently from school organizations.
