I believe I am borderline to getting rejected, but I absolutely love UDel and really hope I atleast have a chance.

Great Essay, Loads of ECs, great counselor/teacher recs, and applied early. I also put my freshman-junior year GPAs because I believe UDel looks for upward trends? I may be wrong.

Oh... and I'm from PA

Do you have a specific major in mind or did you apply undeclared? Also, have your HS courses included Honors/AP classes, if so, how many and what subjects?

I put undeclared since I thought I would have more of a chance. And I didn’t take any AP classes, but I took all honors courses.

I think you have a chance but I’m afraid it probably is not very good one (sorry). In your favor is your progressively elevated GPA thru your HS years. Unfortunately, the rest of your stats would probably place you in lower 25% category of students accepted. But students are accepted with similar stats so it is not completely hopeless. Hopefully you wrote a dynamite essay (I believe this can be an important factor in borderline cases). Also get your first semester grades from your Sr. year to UD as soon as they are available (hopefully you will continue to get all A’s like your Jr. year). Best of luck to you.

Hello. I’m a junior and I have very similar stats as you. I was wondering if you ever got accepted?

probably, i was waitlisted for about two weeks then i got accepted! good luck :)

sorry i thought you said i was wondering if i would get accepted! haha but yes i did get accepted and i’m pretty sure you will too!

xoluvsdance if you can, you should arrange an interview with an admissions counsellor at the University of Delaware…that will show them your interest and maybe they can help you point out your strengths when applying. Good luck!
