<p>Yeah but they still take it into account. I don't think you will get McCombs. And you may or may not even get into the school. I am not sure if it is possible to take the ACT over, but if you can go for it. They put a lot of emphasis on test scores no matter where you are from.</p>
<p>You'll probably in but not for McCombs. You can probably get into liberal arts. Which isn't a bad thing, a liberal arts degree from UT (especially in economics) is better than the business degree from a lot of other schools.</p>
<p>I think you are like 50/50 right now as far as your chances go, but they might have thought you were from Texas with top 10%. You are def. not guaranteed in( sorry to burst the bubble they created), but my instate friend had a 1440 SAT which is =31-32 ACT, and didn't even get summer program.</p>
<p>Don't worry. No bubble was bursted. I am actually pretty happy with 50/50 odds. I would have put myself at 40/60 tops. I am at 50/50 with some other schools, so hopefully a couple will work out for me. I misunderstood your statement earlier, I did not think that they thought of me as instate.</p>
