<p>Your chances are okay. UVA admissions is so difficult OSS that no one is a lock. Your ECs look okay, the only thing that might hold you back is rank, most OSS students are in the top 5%.</p>

<p>Eh I was only top 10% and I made it, but granted, that was probably the weakest part of my transcript aside from SAT math (I had a 2210 with a 610), so I suppose other stuff compensated for the rank (no hooks though- I'm not a minority and have no alumni/financial connections). But yes, obviously the higher rank the better, especially considering that OOS is really damn hard.... I've talked to several kids who got into Cornel and Brown but were rejected at UVA.</p>

<p>Your credentials seems very good, and being from the midwest will help... there are few students who apply from there- but one never knows with admissions these days..... best of luck.</p>

<p>To the original poster, which high school do you attend? I happened to attend an all-male high school in Missouri and currently attend UVa.</p>
