Luckily you live in the state that is the most unfriendly to out-of-staters, so I think you’ll do fine. Borderline at Madison, but you should get many acceptances. One mediocre semester sophomore year won’t ruin you.

Do you guys know the policy on if freshman year is counted for the GPA in these schools. I know in UCs its not, but I don’t know for these OOS and it would help if it is.

University of Wisconsin Madison - Low Reach
University of Washington - Match
University of Illinois Champlaign - Low Reach
University of Indiana - Safety (bloomington, right?)
University of California San Diego - Match

what programs you applying to? cause if it’s engineering, i would say illinois and wisconsin are going to be the hardest.

I am looking to get into the business schools at these institutions
