OOS chances?

GPA is 4.0 weighted, 3.9 unweighted. I come from a school that uses the 4.0 scale.

Female, half-Chinese, half Caucasian from a good public school out of state. I got a 2200 on the SAT (770 critical reading, 630 math, 800 writing) and an 11 on the essay, and I got a 32 on the ACT, and a 9 on the essay (not sure which I would send). I got 730 on the lit subject test, 740 on the world history, and 780 on the US history. My intended major is probably history, thinking of a double major in history and anthropology.

Thanks!

What was your ACT math subscore? That SAT math is kind of low, especially for out of state. Don’t put much hope on that 800 writing carrying a lot of weight, Verbal + Math is still king.

I think my ACT math was a 33? Definitely higher than the SAT.

I think you will have an ok chance…

seems like your schedule could be more difficult, but I don’t know anything about your school, obviously.

I agree with soccerguy.

If your ACT math is a 33, is there any chance you can retake the SAT? Forget about writing, it doesn’t matter if that goes down. If you can get Math up to 700, then with your 760 critical reading you have a much better chance, your weak class load not being considered.
