OOS cost of University of Michigan Ross undergraduate

Is the OOS cost of University of Michigan Ross undergraduate worth it? Would going to Wash U Olin at comparable cost be better option since private school and more double major flexibility? Or would U of Illinois Business school (honors) for in-stater be best choice? Want finance major/economics, most likely.

how much is undergrad to ross?

What do you want to do after school?

Ross and Olin are over $50,000. U of I is half that. I am not certain exactly what I want to do after school, so want school that also gives me most options to explore.

bump bump bump

Ross would definitely give you the most opportunities.

Ross is better than Olin, so it makes more sense to attend Ross if the cost is the same. UIUC is half the price, so if money is a concern, it makes sense to go for UIUC.

By the way, Ross is very flexible and makes it easy for its students to double major.

Thanks. It is good to hear it’s easy to double major at Ross, as I had thought otherwise. A concern I do have regarding Ross, is that I haven’t heard yet on Pre-admit, and if I don’t get in now, that I will have to “apply” during my Freshman year. I am already accepted at Washington University in Olin. Though I agree Ross is considered to be better, is it enough better to not seriously consider Olin, if I don’t get accepted to Ross Pre-admit?

^^^The business world is very competitive right now, along with just about everything esle of course. If you are going to succeed, you’ll need to do well right from the get go. That said, if you go to Michigan without a pre-admit to Ross, you still have a good chance of getting in providing your grades etc. are good. Ross opens doors upon graduation that only few other schools are able to and to me it’s worth the risk.
