Just wanted to let all the OOS people that your decisions are actually in the mail. Mine was sitting in the mailbox when I got home...big envelope said "welcome" on the outside.

everyone that got accepted, are you all amazing? like 2300 SATs and 4.5 GPAs or maybe a few are more normal like me? Cause my 4.0 and 30 ACT is very normal.

I would not say I am amazing. My sat's were good - over 2200, but my gpa is nothing special. 3.7 out of 4 with full weighting. I do go to a good high school and I've taken hard classes, but I'm ranked ~55/176. Hope this gives some hope to those of you out there who aren't in the top 10% - or to 25% - of your classes.

^^I had a 4.6 weighted gpa, top 5% in my class -- but lower SAT scores which W & M does not care about too much and I applied as an in-state applicant. Consider yourself very fortunate for getting in.

-I was accepted like 5 days ago

2200 SAT, but GPA around 3.7 or so...not top 10%, but top 15% probably

I didn't really think i had a shot because i'm out of state...but, man, am i happy right now

accepted, OOS, today. does anyone know how W&M is with financial aid?

Accepted OOS, Wisconsin. Solid enough scores, I guess (35 ACT, 2280 SAT), 3.8UW GPA. I also ignored the optional essay.

whoa i was accepted out of state yesterday with a 2140 (700m 700cr 740w) and a 3.45 uw gpa from florida and i did the extra essay (i had already written it for class last year). i also got into university of michigan-ann arbor with scholarship and university of virginia and waitlisted at cornell. i guess i just got really lucky.
