Ds status shows accepted today. She is in state from a non ranking school.

Which school/major for your D?

just checked daughters status. Nothing yet!

Since I am OSS I figured it was apporopriate to post in this thread. I have a 29 act and 3.44 gpa. I know my numbers aren’t the best but if my ec are pretty decent do you think I have a chance. I was also wondering whether or not it makes a different if I have visited campus or put a deposit down on housing. Also if I don’t get into my first choice will I still get considered for undecided? Sorry for all the questions UT is my top choice and I am worried I won’t get in! Thanks!

What is your requested major? Did you get the letter admitting you to the school, just not major / college specific?

No I applied to UT in august but I still haven’t received my admissions decision.

If you don’t get into your top choice, they will consider you for “undecided” which they call School of Undergraduate Studies.

Just heard…got accepted as undeclared !!! I applied to McCombs. ACT 26 (I know) UW gpa 4.0, W gpa 4.24

So what’s the scoop as far as trying to get in to the major ?

@magnapp: Congrats!! you are in the door! There are many threads about what it takes to transfer to McCombs. One was updated today. :)

decision: rejected
kind of dissheveled and disappointed, had a 3.94 WGPA and 31 ACT, with good ec’s and good essays… And I know two other people at my school who got rejected too; one with a 3.8 GPA and 30 ACT and one with a 3.8 GPA and a 1990 SAT… We’re from California

Accepted to School of Undergraduate Studies! I wish I got into McComb’s or Cockrell though, since I can’t know for sure if I’ll get into them as an internal transfer. I’m just grateful I got in though.

Accepted as an RTF major in the College of Communications!
found out when I got home today.
