Application essay: talking about how my idealism used to get in the way of taking on practical goals for community service (much more specific in essay), and how I learned sometimes I need to start smaller, but can still make a positive impact in the community/ how I use telling really corny jokes to let others laugh at me as much as the joke, which relieves tension in times of pain/stress (my voice is pretty strong and I use I wide range of vocabulary appropriately)
Teacher's evaluation: I feel like they would have pretty good things to say about me, as they say they only write them for deserving students, but I don't see their rec so I cant say! I ask lots of questions and actively participate in class, and try to help out other students when they don't understand something

UNC is my dream school so your responses are greatly appreciated! I realize its insanely hard out of state and it's the flip of a coin, but I would like to know if its likely!

I didn’t see a follow-up. Did you get into your dream school?

Apply! Always apply for your dream school
In fact email and call your local person and tell them it is! What can it hurt?
