I finished mine at the last minute too, I think I submitted it a few days before the deadline…</p>
<p>It doesn’t follow a pattern according to when you submitted the application, I don’t think. I submitted mine the evening of december 1st and I’ve already received my letter.</p>
<p>I got my letter here in Vermont on saturday.</p>
<p>Yeah, I don’t think it has to do with when you submitted it because there are schools where my friends and I submitted at different times but got the decisions at similar times.
I really don’t know how they do it. I’m guessing they apply and reject the ones they know for sure, then take more time to think about the other ones.</p>
<p>again… it doesn’t matter when you submitted your application, where you live, or whether you got accepted or not.</p>
<p>By the time the first letters go out they know who they want to accept/decline/waitlist. It’s mailed out randomly in batches. There is no hidden system behind it.</p>

<p>I submitted my application just 24 hours before the deadline.</p>
<p>My last name starts with a Y.</p>
<p>Average stats. <2000 SAT. No significant awards. Only took 2 AP exams so far and never gotten a 5.</p>

no worries!!! My letter said it was printed on March 15th and these letters are sent first class! So it took FIVE DAYS for it to get to me in Virginia. I’d say if I were you I’d expect it this week, even if you’re in the first batch~</p>
