Looking for some specific insights. I realize that McCombs admits a very small number of OOS students each year. I am trying to find out specifics of some who were actually offered admissions. GPA, Test Scores, why they think they made this high bar. We had one from our high school offered in last two years, can’t learn enough from that offer. Thanks for sharing andyour help…
Search for the Business Honors Program threads. There are OOS students posting in there. Also look at the Decisions 2020 and Fall applicant threads.
UT does not consider GPA according to their common data set.
“As a state-assisted institution, the University reserves 90 percent of its spaces for Texas residents per Texas law; 10 percent of the spaces are reserved for out-of-state and international students.”
UT uses a combination of an AI/PAI to make these decisions. (See the end of this document)

What’s the acceptance rate for OOS McCombs? @d101parent @gettingschooled I imagine it is very low, definitely below 20%.
I have never seen admission rate by school or department. UT publishes a lot of data though so it may be out there.
