OOS Merit Aid?

<p>Hi, I'm currently a Phi Theta Kappa sophomore at St. Louis Community College in Missouri. I'm looking at transfering next fall (2011) and I'm going to major in English with an emphasis on linguistics. My question is does the University of Iowa give good scholarships/merit aid to out of state students? Someone had recommended me the school in a previous thread and said that they do give generous oos packages. So I was just wondering if it's true or not. Also can anyone post the links that they find, thanks.</p>

<p>As a transfer, you should know that a whole different rulebook applies to you vs. incoming freshmen. Not necessarily a tougher rulebook, it’s just that the admissions process for transfers is different, so be careful about your sources of information.</p>

<p>yes i know i just heard that they had good merit aid for oos transfers but im finding it hard to come by haha thanks for the link</p>
