OOS Money?

does anyone know how much money BU gives to out of state students on average, if at all?

<a href="http://www.bu.edu/finaid/cost/%5B/url%5D">http://www.bu.edu/finaid/cost/</a></p>

No OOS, dear. BU's private. save about 8000 by living at home.

I'm from New Jersey and I get almost half tuition (not merit) from BU in financial aid...

Yeah it doesn't matter to BU where you're from. What matters is how much your need and/or academic merits are. From what I've found, people either get need based aid, merit based, or neither. Not usually both. Though there may be people that I haven't heard about. My aid covered 3/4 of the total cost and was all need based.

BU is NOT a STATE school. I don't know what would lead you to believe that.

eh, the name kinda makes it sound state school-ish, but the tuition I think makes it pretty obvious very quickly.

hahaha, but Boston is a city, not a state. I mean look at NYU or UChicago or even BC...seeing as I cannot find more colleges to support my argument at this moment, I'll agree. The tuition'll definitely make a difference.
