<p>Your ACT score is obviously top-notch yet your weighted GPA is slighly below the average/at the average for last year’s admitted class (that average was 4.47). Certainly, you’re right there, but the only problem is that you’re out-of-state, and UNC’s class will have only 18% of its members from OOS, which makes it incredibly competitive. The big thing with this school is its weight placed on the epic academic record and certainly less of a focus on a standardized test with the overall applicant pool (yet, I wonder if they look more closely at standardized tests for OOS applicants?..I don’t know). I can’t really speculate either way here b/c your weighted GPA is at the average and I am guessing that that number would need to be stronger for OOS? Anybody else? </p>
