You’ll likely get the scholarship and an honors invitation. Any particular reason you’re applying to UConn? For OOS students it’s not much cheaper than a private college, so your own state’s flagship might be a better safety.

well my GPA is pretty low and i did not work very hard my first couple years of high school. i love the big state school/basketball atmosphere as well as the city atmosphere. now i know UCONN is small but its only 2 hours from where i live(long island) and i’m not really looking at schools across the country. some on my list are:
syracuse, bing, stony, uconn, bing, fordham, ohio state, NYU, Boston U and reaches are UNC-CH and Georgetown. i’m looking for some decent aid/merit so i only have 1/2 reaches

Gotcha. GPA is really only important for calculating class rank. Even then your SAT scores and list of APs/improving grades and activities will probably make up for it. I wouldn’t count on it as a sure thing because UConn prioritizes in state students (like all state universities), but if you get your application in early (November-December, they don’t have EA any more but it makes a difference), you should be high up enough on the list to get a scholarship.

im planning on geting my apps done ASAP anyways so yeah i hope so nothing is guranteed but i’d like to improve my chances as much as possible. Thanks for the help :)
