<p>Does anyone know if UNC considers state of reisdency when evaluating transfer applicants?</p>
<p>I know residency carries a lot of weight for first year applicants, but couldnt find anything on the website regarding transfer applicants.</p>
<p>Residency carries no weight for transfers. Good for OOS, but for in-state kids like me, who are competing with all those excellent candidates who didn’t quite make the cut when applying as freshmen, it doesn’t look so good :(</p>
