I'm currently a freshman at a not-so-impressive state university. I'm planning on transferring my Junior year (well, attempting to anyway) and I'm trying to do all I can to raise my chances.

I'm going to be applying as an economics major, and the summer courses at NU have open admissions, so I was intending on taking a couple classes this summer while working. I'm unsure of the quality of these courses, and how positively they may reflect on my application.

I'm seeking outside opinions on this matter because the classes are quite expensive, and I'm unsure if it's really worth it.
