Open Campus 2010

Hey all you accepted Smith prospies! I just bought my tickets to visit Smith on April 15-16 for open campus, and was hoping I wasn't the only one. :P Anyone else out there planning to visit Smith for Open Campus 2010? What are your academic interests? What's your favorite color?

I am interested in neuroscience and my favorite color is aqua. :P

your turn!

I’ll be there for Open Campus and Discovery weekend!
I am also interested in Neuroscience/Middle Eastern Studies and I am a fan of canary yellow

haha well, it’s only in like 4 days…I HOPE there’s more than just you and me there! But yellow. good to know.

I’ll be at Open Campus! Psych/education/women’s studies (currently I have this ridiculously ambitious goal involving saving the world through sex ed), purple (red is a close-ish second).

Hey! I’m going to be at Open Campus and Discovery Weekend coming all the way from Charleston, South Carolina.
I’m interested in History or Government!
So excited to meet all of you!

I’m going to both Open Campus and Discovery Weekend! Interested in majoring in Government, but I’m totally open to the other options. So excited!

You should all major in Government. That’s what the cool kids do ;-)

My D will be astonished to find that she’s a cool kid. Maybe a double major invalidates the coolness?

haha yayyy!!! I’m so excited!! any of you STRIDErs?

I’m extremely jealous of all of you who are going! I was just at Smith last week, but I wish I could be meeting up with everyone this weekend.

I’m going and I got a STRIDE! So excited for SMITH. :)

I’m a STRIDEr

I’m so glad that you STRIDES are going to Open Campus so you’ll see poster presentations of some of the research some current STRIDE students have done this year as well as a panel of STRIDE students and their professors. Last year my husband was very impressed with their level of work and the variety of research projects. I don’t think any other LAC offers a research program like this for the first two years of college.

yeah the more I look into things, the more I’m agreeing with CarolynB. And I’m a STRIDEr too. yay!

Yay STRIDE! I’m a current first-year and STRIDE student, and the poster session is going to be great this year, so definitely come!

Wow. That’s a disproportionate number of STRIDEs here on CC. There would have to be 75 admittees total posting to have the same percentage of the general population. It’s a great opportunity, ladies. May you do well with it.
