Hi!

I am new to CC and I am just curious as to who is going to the Open Campus Days? I registered to go and I just want to see who my future classmates will be :D

I’m going to the Sunday one :D

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go. Forensics regionals that day, and there’s no way I’m going to “at-large” myself in a group of over 60 extempers. So, I guess I’ll just have to wait until this fall to meet all of my sisters during orientation! sigh Such a long wait…

I believe, if you join the Bryn Mawr & Haverford Bi-Co group on facebook, that a group of accepted students from both institutions plan on meeting up in New York City for a day of fun.

I’m planning on being there Saturday through Monday. Anyone doing the Mosaic tour/event?

for those who’re coming to the Open Campus Day, I’ll be on the Spring Admission Panel…so, can’t wait to meet you all!!!=D

I will also be attending the Open Campus Days April 18 and 19! Does anyone know when we can pick the class that we want to sit in on on the 19th?

TinySpiny, I’ll be there the same days. So, what is the mosaic tour?

I can’t find the bi-consortium group on Facebook. Can anyone link it to me?

Is anyone else going to just the Sunday part of Open Campus Days? And would it be awkward to leave in the middle–or actually maybe when the hostess match up occurs–since I have to drive the trip back for school (which I unfortunately can’t miss that day) in the morning?

SkittleRose; we just got back from the Bryn Mawr “Experience”; we had to leave early to get my daughter back to school the same evening (6 hr drive). It’s really not that awkward to just say “thanks, but I’ve got to leave”. You might let Bryn Mawr know ahead of time that you have to leave early; so that they don’t match you up with a host (I don’t know the particulars of the schedule).

Our daughter came back from Open Campus Days yesterday, raving about the experience. She’s our oldest child, so this is a new experience for all of us, but I am so happy that Bryn Mawr not only met our daughters hopes, but exceeded them, with this admitted students weekend. Thanks to all who put this together and thanks to all the current BMC students who made our daughter feel so at home. She made so many connections and friendships with current and future first years that she feels as if she’s already a part of the school. She can’t wait to start her college career. As much as she’s enjoyed her high school years, these last two months of school are going to be tough, now that she’s gotten a taste of what the future holds at BMC.

Hi macnell; we went to the “Experience”; basically an abbreviated version of the Open Campus Days; and that was it, our daughter was absolutely moved by the “experience”. She bought the sweatshirt! Glad to hear that your daughter as well as mine, are so excited about Bryn Mawr. Absolutely agree about Senior Spring vs possibilites at Bryn Mawr in the fall!
