Just wondering if anyone has done the Freshman MIT open course physics for mechanics and E/M?
Our school is lacking a decent AP physics C program, so to compensate, would working through these MIT online courses over the summer be an adequate substitute if one were pre-med and wanted college physics exposure before it really counted for a grade?

I’m hoping so. My son’s AP Physics B teacher from last year never gets enough students who sign up for AP Physics C. She had 12 and needs closer to 30 this past year. Next year they have a new bell schedule with 40min “embedded support periods” twice a week. She is planning to offer Physics C once a week with the students watching the MIT Open Courseware videos at home and going over problem sets and doing practice tests at school. These would ally be kids who have already taken Physics B and I’m guessing they would just do the Mechanics half. They wouldn’t get class credit, but hopefully would be prepped for the test. I hope it works!
