<p>My school gives seniors (not sure about juniors, sophs, and freshmen) two days off for college visits; not sure what happens if they want to take more. I guess it would count as general vacation in that I think they might have to notify/possibly get permission from teachers.</p>
<p>A week or less is perfectly acceptable, I think!</p>
